Are you seriously going to use this hood on a car that's already had the front fascia cut for the Firehawk hood? Aren't there some big gaps in the lower nostril area now?
I know, it's just a test fit. But I'm just curious why a Firehawk was chosen for this, when a stock Firebird or WS6-T/A would give clearer results for the masses who would purchase this hood.
Should be a great selling product as long as it's priced accordingly!

Looks good. How tall is the WS9 hood compared to the stock WS6 hood? Also, how much shorter is it than the 4" VFN WS6 hood? I have been looking at the 4" hood but I also like the looks of the WS9 hood.

the test fit was performed on a 2002 v6 firebird...not sure where you got firehawk from. [unless some of the decals threw you off ]
the hood has a 2'' lift from the regular ws6 hood. therefore it is 2'' less than the 4'' hood.
we will be going back there shortly, im sure armando wouldn't mind us taking some outdoor pics. he was completely cool about the whole process.
the view from the car is great, the hood does not get in the way at all, yet its tall enough to make a bold statement.

The price of an item is determined by the physical costs to make it, and the amount of time that goes into actually making the real product. So, the word "ridiculous" is relative to someone's own judgement. For instance, I have had people complain about my prices. On the other side of the coin, many, MANY customers say the product is worth every penny. The truth is, the common person has absolutely no idea what has to be done to make the items. The cheapest way to do it is to do it yourself if you have the means. If someone else has to do it, then you can expect to pay more than what it costs the producer. The producer has to make a profit, and that profit is determined by the producer because they are the one who devotes the time and effort. If I sold items at half the price I am at now, I am sure some people would still say they are high. That's pretty sad when I am already much cheaper than the competition. To me and knowledgeable consumers, none of my items are overpriced. To people wanting something nice and expecting to get it for nothing, almost all prices are unreasonable in their eyes. Some people just need to get a clue.
It is easy to say something is too expensive. Ultimately, only the producer can determine if something is too expensive by the number of sales yielded. Supply and demand generally determines all price levels, but in my case, I drop the prices lower than anyone else while using the superior material just to do a favor for the automotive crowd who want the best without breaking the bank. But, you can't please some people.

So, someone has 'Firehawk' decals on an '02 Firedbird with a V6?!?!
Wow, ..., Great poser, ...
And did it really not have the front fascia already cut for the Firehawk hood?
Still looks like it may have been cut, & it appears to have big gaps in the lower nostrils.
This will still be a great selling hood for the regular T/A people!

I looked at the pictures again for the third time and love them even more.
I'm sure the price will be right in line with VFN's other hoods which will be incredibly reasonable. It will probably be in the $400-550 range is what I'm guessing. As for quality, I've heard nothing but good things from people about VFN in terms of fit/finish and customer service.
