Default how much psi can I run on stock bottom

how much psi can I run on stock bottomI have a 1999 z28 6speed I have the following but no installed
sts turbo with upgraded 67mm turbo and a ls6 intake, I want a set of headers no cats and a set of heads like the 6.0 heads.what boost can I run with this set up? what else should I get I want to leave the bottom stock for now and I would like 525 at wheels I have the elky kit too

You could do that reasonably...That's around the limit of the stock shortblock but your tune will help a lot with making sure you don't blow a whole in a piston...Alky is a definite plus...Are you going to run an intercooler eventually??

We ussually run 10lbs with an intercooler/60lb injector's and hit 500hp easilly enough on a stock motor

Pushing a good 9psi here with 540, on a very safe tune. Stock bottome end, & cam with the exception of 1.85 arms.
I am right at the limit but oh well if something brakes it will give me the reason to rebuild and upgrade.

been doing 15psi for a while on the 76, did 16 several times on the old t67. Gonna push a friends stocker to 18psi or so with some 6.0 heads and a t76. Only bottom end mod is rod bolts.

Boost is a horrible way to measure things, it's just restriction. Don't detonate or go lean and the amount of boost is irrealevant.

The general consensus is that 8 psi with a good tune is reliable. The key being a good tune.

eventually Ill get a intercooler but wont the meth kit work or should I run both

will my 42# injectors keep up or do I have to go bigger and what size fuel pump do I need? what cam should I run?
