I remember reading about a few guys who had put alarm sensors (on the factory alarms) on their tops so they could go inside a store or something without having to put their tops back on. Would anybody mind telling me where to get them and how to install them? Any help is greatly appreciated :).

its just a proximity sensor...when anything enters its field, it sets the alarm off.

I knew somebody would know what I was talking about. Thanks for the response. Where do I get one and how do I set it up?

both of the car alarms i bought came with one, but if you go to anywhere that sells alarms they should offer the proximity sensor itself, but you will need an alarm system that accepts the proximity sensor...not sure if you are planning on going with an entire new system or not, im not sure if you can just add one to the stock alarm system, but i have never asked that question either.
