winter injury
Well guys, mother nature really stuck it my *** last night. I was walking down the the driveway and I lost it on some ice.
Results: Broken ankle, snapped tendons and ligaments. This suck right before Christmas. Looks like no work until February. I'm told that I need to have screws tapped into my ankle to get the Tibia and Fibia bones back together again.

Thanks guys. Brad I will give you a call tomorrow, right now I feel like crap and these pain killers have me kind of groggy. My foot looks like a balloon right now and it kills to the touch.

Sorry to hear that Boris. One of the guys I work with did the same thing two years ago. He was walking down the driveway early in the morning to get the newspaper (in just his bathrobe) and fell breaking his right tibia and fibula. The kicker was that he couldn't get back up because of the ice and everyone in the house was still asleep. He ended up lying there for several hours until one of his kids found him while heading for the bus stop. Luckily, everything turned out okay and he was back to his normal "pre-fall" hyperactive state in just a couple of months.
I hope you have a speedy recovery!

That is not good B-Man....With all the ice on driveways, parking lots, etc., I've been on my *** a few times during the past week, going to plmbg. jobs. Hopefully, you'll have knowledgable people working on you that will do the stuff right, so you'll have no problems afterwards....Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. WJ
