Default Headlights all frosted up--help

My headlights have like a ruff glaze over them what can I do to get it cleaned off are wiil have to buy new ones? Its like they were cleaned with sandpaper. I havent cleaned this one any different than the last vehicles I have had in the past and I never had that problem.Any addvice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Man it's easier to spend $120 on eBay to buy Halos than do this whole cleaning thing. I did it, it took hours :\

The cleaning method would be the most inexpensive if you're strapped for cash, but Halos or the commercialized-Whistler mod (available at ProCarParts.com) is available if you'd rather spend the money than DIY. Not firmiliar with the average price of the Halos, I think the Whistler mod at ProCarParts.com was $140.

i just followed the steps to try and fix my headlights....for the 2nd time....and they still look terrible. i suggest getting halos, this was too much work and time for me to do this and it only turn out lookin the same as before.
