Default Hedman Street Hedders

I was just looking at Summit's web site and they have LT Hedmen Headers for LS1s for only $229. Are these crap headers? I am not too worried about them not being coated, but I am more interested in making sure they will give me the same performance as other headers. Does anyone know anything about these? Thanks.

If it's any help, I have a set on a '67 GMC truck. My dad and I installed them in 1988. They are uncoated. I have never had one issue at ALL! The truck has been daily driven and seen all kinds of weather. Coatings are good and pretty, but sometimes overrated. Don't take this wrong, I have coated headers now. When people say they'll rust away, in my experience this is entirely untrue. As for quality, can't say on an F-body but my truck headers have been great.

The only downside to them is that they're not coated, which means they will rust.

Hedman does make quality headers.
