Rotery cam??

Rotery cam?? A few years ago ther was some new fangle device called the Coates rotery cam and last I heard it was right about to be offerd to the genral public, has anybody seen or heard anythign about them? Their prototype engine was impressive a small block ford making 1,100hp NA! Does anybody have one and if so what kind of improvement are they over regular heads?

There have been alot of concept engines over the years, and some of them have had much more potential than the piston engine, but Detroit tends to be very slow at adapting to new technolagy, prob because of how much effort they have put into perfecting the piston engine. Deos coats sell their retery cam yet or are they still just talking about it? Have they tried to actualy race it yet?
