Thumbs up New Sponsor! World Products

Everyone please welcome Bill Mitchell and the group over at World Products. Many of you hotrodders already know about the engine blocks and heads that World Products make, and their outstanding reputation.

With their upcoming release of the Warhawk LS7X engine block and LS7X 12 and 15 degree valve angle head castings, we are expecting to see some ridiculously huge power capablities for the LS1 performance industry. I got the opportunity to speak with Bill and check out the castings at PRI a month ago, and we are looking forward to seeing these engine components hit the market!

I have a nice brochure on their LSX parts (pdf format) here:

Very nice! Guess that trip to PRI was worth while Tony? Those are some real nice pieces. Wonder if something like that might find its way into the Hugger '69?

Man, that 454 set up looks like a ton of HP for the $$. I'd love to see some flow numbers on the LS1 15* heads and some dyno numbers too.

There are alot of nice things in the block. Oiling, mains. However, not free. How about the 9.8" deck height. Is that a 4.5 or 4.6 inch stroke?

The heads are not CNC'd. And they aren't priced with Ti valves. A big spring can compensate for the light valve, but will the lifter and rockers handle the load?

Still, this is the next generation of LS development. In 12 months, the LS7 heads and 4.125" bores will be the norm.

I like this a LOT. In fact I think there is a very good chance that this setup will be in my car by next Christmas.
