Default My dyno sheet

What do you guys think of my power curves and AFR? See my sig for mods, and yes I still have the LS1 intake, stock throttlebody and pulley. Thanks for any input you have.

The curve is nice but the power just isn't there. The AFR looks perfect, from what I can see.

Nice flat tq and very smooth power curve....looks good to me.
The real world is where it counts.

damn, that tq curve is the flatest I've ever seen on an LS1 motor.

considering you have cats, stock TB, pulleys, no cut out or and LS1 intake, those numbers aren't bad. your probalby leaving 60+rwhp on the table with those mods.

how bout a lid? you don't list that either...

Not bad numbers you are leaving a lot of supporting mods on the table but in the future if you do them i would be interested to see what you pick up from them.

Wow, I just realized he has cats, stock TB, no UD pulley, LS1 intake, and no lid.

He has a K&N FIPK

I think it looks like nice smooth curves, AFR looks almost perfect. You could actually push it to 13:1 if you wanted but would not gain much I don't think. Does seem kind of low for a 6 speed car but I agree that the track is where the truth is told about the #'s.

good numbers for the minimal mods you have.get an ls6 intake, an underdrive pulley,ORY and i bet you'll see about 25 more hp.

LS6 would get ya 10 rwhp, pulley 5-7, a cutout 5-10 over the already free flowing loudmouth. Add it up and that is mid 380's to low 390 rwhp. Solid numbers for a F11 cam only car with cats.

Thanks for the input. I didn't go with the LS6 intake yet because I have a set of AFR 205's and was planning to go straight to the Fast 90 set-up. I was also thinking of going to a slightly bigger cam, perhaps around the low to mid 230's in duration.

Your cam now is already a 228/230. Why go with a cam that is minimally bigger than what you already have and only see a very minimal gain in power? Wouldn't be worth the swap, in my opinion. If I were you, I'd finish bolt-ons and do heads and see what happens. LSUxBlake has 453rwhp with his F11 so it's a great cam, you just need to work on the supporting features to maximize it's potential.

Yeah you're probably right, the gains might not be worth the added expense. I just didn't want to put a huge cam in and loose alot of low end torque and have to rev the motor real high because with my luck something like a rod bolt would cut loose and I don't have the money for a new motor. Does anyone know if the addition of the AFR heads and 90mm intake would significantly increase the rpm at which I reach max hp or would I peak at about the same rpm? Thanks!

Looks good for a restricted intake and very restrictive 98 heads.
