Default Is Snell Rating 95 out-dated for 06?
I thought I remember the tech guy telling me I will need a new helmet for the 06 season..Does anyone know...Thanks

A Snell 2000 rating will be required in 06 at Infineon (Sears Point).

Yup, snell gear only has a 10 year rolling limit

According to the NHRA 2006 rule book, Snell 95 helmets are still good. I think the year limit is 15.

That is what I was told when I posted on my local track forum. Snell 90 equipment is no good...certification expires today (1/1/06). Snell 95 is still good for a couple more years.
