Default What pulley you use (Double Roller)

For all you guys out there w/ the Double roller timing chains, what else was required to use. I see on Speed inc's website that the ASP Pulley requres modification when used w/ the Rollmaster Double Roller timing chain, however the SLP pulley works w/ both Chain sets? Can you guys let me know what pulleys you are running, if you you know why you neeed it modified or cant use ASP, was there any other modification aside from spacing the oil pump or should i jsut forget the hastle and go w/ jsut a chain for the stock timing set?

thanks in advanvce

Speed Inc says PAP (?) and SLP wokr w/ but not ASP does that mean MARCH would work?/ yes or no thanks

...Or you could just rock out with the ls2 chain like me!

I think ASP updated their pulley so that it would not slide so far in. Definatly check it out first though. There is a picture on ls1howto.com at the bottom of the camshaft swap page.

Just run the LS2 chain. I have a ASP pulley and $25 LS2 cahin, spun the car to 7200, and no problems.

Double Roller here. No problems installing it or anything. Just got to make sure the pulley is the newer SFI version. The double is kinda overkill but I went with it just for that reason.

You can get it from GM, that's where I got mine. Just a little something to think about...MTI uses the LS2 chain on their 427 motors. If it is good enough for that, it is good enough for a 346. The part number is 12586482. Let me know if you have any more questions
