Default 20hp 30ftlbs differance same tune?

Ok I went to the dyno the other day and i was doing some tunning for my buddy i got ve diled in for wot and then pluged maf back in started messin with that to get it where we wanted it. Well I made a pe change and made a pull got 407 379. Sounded good to me for stock timming and still getting 2 degress kr witch is probably false nock any way. But went back made a another change made another pull and it dropped big time i only changed pe for 6000 to 6400 then went back to the previous tune and the numbers were still down with the same tune as before and no kr this time to 386 349. What is the problem? I have a dyno graph and hp tunners logs and will post them as soon as i can figure out how aperently the file is to large.

Is this on a 98 if so the knock your getting is the stock timing it set two high from the factory its, well depends what cells it is in stock could be 28-31 degrees which dosn't sound alot but a stock 02 ZO6 is 22.

It is seeing the KR and dropping you to low octane tables. Copy high octane to low octane and this will fix it. Just make sure the guy knows only to run good gas as effectively his low octane timing tables will be gone.

Its on a 99 but they might have same timming tables i dont know for sure. Also the car made more power with the 2* of kr than with no kr thats why its so wierd same tune but no kr on the pull and it makes less power. I am still working on the hp tunners log i will try and iget it on here the only thing i can find was that the 407 run was 3* cooler ect but that shouldent make that much differance.
