Default ss emblem in grill

ok i just bought and recieved my black billet grill from the sponsers to the right-->>>> and i also ordered the 69 camaro ss emblem.. and i was tryin to mount it in the middle of the grill and was wondering how everyone else did this.. please help me out on this....

or u could weld it on right? the grille i bought my mom for her mustang has a pony on it, and it fell off when i took it out of the box lol crappy weld i guess

id like to know too I was wondering what the 69 emblem was made out of, i know from what ive seen it also sticks out kind of far and was gonna try to get the back shaved down

Using the hardware that comes with the emblem, grind the two posts down to remove the excess behind the speed clips after they are installed, and you're done. Not sure what the problem is that you are trying to solve.

i just didnt know if the studs that came on the emblem would work...if anyone has any pics of how they did it would be great...thanx

well i got mine in as well and realized that i would have to do some cutting on the emblem to make it fit but then 01pewter2001z28 sent me a pm saying that the 69 camaro emblems do not fit flush but the 69 chevelle emblems do and that you can get them from trimparts.com for $57 and they are on back order just FYI they told me five weeks so guess ill be waiting

I had to cut the posts and make a bracket to JB weld to the post then the grille. The other side I used wire and drilled a hole in the post(I think, been awhile). I dont think you could weld the emblem since it is cast.

Cant you get the Chevelle emblems from Year One? I'm guessing they're not backordered...
