Gears & Axles - wheelhop!

Well here's the story. With the stock rearend I never had any problems. The car launched straight as a string, no wheelhop, hooked pretty good etc... skip ahead to the part where I twisted my axles in half... I replaced the stock rearend with a moser 12 bolt. Since this swap I have been having some problems launching the car. If I attepmt a hard launch, I get lots of wheelhop. If I get no traction and spin the tires it wants to fishtail. I don't know much about suspension geometry etc... but what could be causing this? I have ordered new swaybar endlinks and bushings (old ones were in pretty bad shape), and I am thinking about adj. LCA's w/ spherical rod ends. I just need to know what are the factors that play into wheelhop so that I don't waste a bunch of coin trying to chase a ghost. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

I've got (intermittant) wheel hop problems too. Like you, I either spin the rears or (sometimes) get some hop. It's funny, but sometimes my car hooks up nice, and other times I get the hop - but I can't make it happen on command. It just comes and goes.
I already have reinforced LCAs, a reinforced PhB, and SFCs. I plan on getting a stronger Torque Arm next, hoping that that will cure the hop, but I'm open to any other suggestions too <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I would think aftermarket LCA should solve the problem

You'd think it would, but I ocasionally get wheelhop too, and I have BMRs.

Ive got BMR adjustable LCA, BMR torque arm and SFC (Trak Pak) and a prothane poly trans mount. Everything is polyurethane. I have no wheel hop at all with my M6. Suspension is stiff and makes some noise now with all the poly stuff but cured any wheel hop problems I had. I am really happy with all of my BMR stuff. Good Luck
