what would a driver who has never been to a dragstrip run on average
with a full exhaust 02 Z06/street tires
I have a guy at my work who just bought one and thinks he has a "land rocket" as he says
he also thinks he will run 11s no problem
and if he did get tires what then?
thanks for any info

Considering it is going to be his first time at the track, i'll be optimistic and say low 13's. He'll run high 12's if he has DR's. No way he'll run an 11 sec. pass.

a buddy of mines dad has one and the one time my buddy took it to the track it ran 12.6@ like 118, with exhaust and street tires.

With a driver it's an 11 second car. Without a driver it's a high 12 second car.

I'd say high 12s with bad driver, low 12s with good driver.

Well, when I first got my Z06 the best I did at the track was a 13.2 @ 107. My next trip though I was running consistent 12.7s @ 110-112. I did Exhaust, air cleaner, tune and put on et streets. I was running 12.0s all night at 115 mph. Of course I am down here in Louisiana and have not seen the times people more north are getting.

After running 12.90s@109ish with only a lid I would puke if I couldn't drive a ZO6 into the deep 12s at least. 11's are very possible and it has been proven that it happens.
It's all about the driver. And FWIW, I ran 12s my first time at the track with my M6, but I have always been a good pilot on whatever I am in/on.
I see more non-drivers than good ones. Let us know how he does...if he tells you the results.

oh I will know the results considering he bet me 100.00 that he is going to beat my car.
When I had the yank4000 in my car I ran 12.01 @110 1.60 60,but now I have a stock convertor in my car,and have since added a more functional ram air setup a P&P TB
and nice size shot of gas
