LS2 heads Will stock LS2 heads bolt up to a stock LS1 Gen III block on a 98 camaro? Which head gaskets to use? Cometic? plan on porting out the LS2 heads.

Theyll work, but expect to only see a mere 10 or so HP gain. Unless youre getting these for a super bargain, look into some of the sponsor's ported heads. Both patriot and livernois have sub $1K CNC ported 234 heads. 243 is the casting number for the ls2/ls6 head.

We have these castings new bare for $645.00 pair. We can do a set of ported heads bare for $845.00 per pair.
