That would be a good question for Kenny Dutwieler or someone at his level. I think MOST people are biased to what they have with no actual comparison between the two.
With that said, go with twins, It will look faster!

Jose would be called for those tricks That I was sure of.
The question was just kind of generic. I know what path I want to take. It sucks if the rules are changing. I think if you kept the rules the same for a second year, it's more inviting. Although i would like to see carbs allowed cause i want to do a blow through... just cause... haha.

Jose, you feel that an 80mm/T6 is equivalent to the twin 60mm/T4 setup? How are you comparing the two, just curious.
Honestly, we are targetting a 9.0 ET for that class, to keep entries competitive. You should be able to reach that goal with either setup as the rules are currently written. If cars start going quicker, they will need to carry more weight to slow them down. Yes, that is brutal, but that is class racing for you.

Yeah, looking at the GT47-80 and new S80, it will make around 1300-1375hp depending on the unit chosen. A pair of standard 60's with p-trims on T4's will support 1200-1250 easy, and trick units will support even more (~1300+hp easily).
As for 9.0 target, that can be done with alot less unit when the car is purposely built.

A T4 flanged 88mm could make 1200hp. NMRA Drag radial allows a 85mm T6 flanged turbo and the class record is like a 8.3@161mph for that kind of setup. I think that is at like 3300 raceweight too.
