Default Engine & Tranny Out...Ready For Cam/Heads

A couple of the guys from my local F-Body car club came over today. I had the car on the lift and was disconnecting hoses/wiring harnesses/driveshaft/etc. for the past two days. This afternoon, it took us about 90 minutes to drop the engine/tranny onto a cart.

I already have the tranny/bellhousing/clutch/flywheel pulled. The headers are off, the harmonic balancer is pulled, and the engine is ready to have the upper half disassembled. The AFR Mongoose heads (milled .011 for a 62cc combustion chamber/11:1 CR), Fast 90mm intake/90mm TB, Melling ported HD oil pump, LS2 timing set, ARP header studs, and Comp cams XER 273 HR cam will be here around the middle of January.

The Spec Stage IV clutch, billet steel flywheel, and ARP bolts will be here next week.

All in all, it was a fairly straight-forward process. I hope it goes back in the car as easily as it came out.
