Special Edition Vehicles - Sebring Silver?

Camaro SS

is it rare or do i just knot see that many of them?
or was there only a few made in this color i see them on camaro ss that often?
i always see pewter and alot of the other colors.

My friend just wrote his off this august. (2000 Sebring silver SS M6, with all SLP options) Very nice looking cars.

I remember seeing a break down of the colors and silver was definitely toward the bottom of the list. I think SOM and white may have been the only ones below it, at least for the 02 model year.

990 Sebring Silver SS were made in 2002. I don't have the numbers handy for other years. Pewter SS are actually more rare with only 872 being made in 02.

I don't know if the author of the thread wanted '02 (although I see he owns one of that year) specifically but...I don't see too many of them around either...I have only seen a silver LT1 SS here other than mine in my city and one LS1 SS in San Antonio...

It's not a particularly rare color... one of the other co-owners of my site has a '02 Sebring Silver SS hardtop.

The best counts available are:

1998 = 373
1999 = 225
2000 = 1121
2001 = 0
2002 = 990

Most interesting would be one of the 3 1999 1LE cars in Sebring Silver.

Cool color. I have a friend that has a 2002 Phase IIX Hot Rod Magazine Camaro in Sebring Silver :)

What is up with that exhaust!? :confused:

Made it myself 3 1/2"from y-pipe back threw the dynomax muffler.. I figured if it's going to have single exhaust it my as well have it all the way out the back. Over the slp dual dual the car lost 26-28 lbs, picked up a tenth and a half and 1 mph. That's whats up.
