Default dyno numbers at speed inc. 2001 z28

car: 2001 camaro z28 m6
miles: 90,xxx
mods:
slp lid
k/n filter
slp maf
hooker LT's
hooker ory
flowmaster muffler
flowtech exhaust dump

Freebie mods
ported T.B
Bumpstop mod
fernco smooth bellow (not free but cheap)

and various suspension, and brake mods (dont apply to dyno)

DYNO NUMBERS on a Dyno-jet machine

MAX RWHP: 347
MAX TORQUE: 356

I am extremely pleased with these numbers, considering my mods are just intake and exhaust without comp tuning. Also I have seen f-bodies with more mods turning the same numbers on the same dyno!!

Before spring I hope to have a cam/head/tune install finished!

what is the typical stock dyno numbers for 01-02 z28?

get rid of the flowmaster they are very restricting.. in my stituation my car made 478/444 with the exhaust when i opened up the cut out it did 516/478.. big difference i know in your case the gains will be less but I've heard that magnaflow is better.. and about the same price as flowmaster too.

I agree completely, the posted run was with the flowtech exhaust dump open, so I figure about 80+% exhaust left before the flowmaster muffler.

ever since I did the header install you can hear and feel the restriction in the flowmaster! damn POS...

I'm looking at either installing the magnaflow or the hooker!

For comparison on the same dyno back in '03 I put down 344/361 with only cut-out, free mods, lid/ filter, ported MAF and I think that is it for power mods. Maybe belows too.
Nice numbers.

thanks guys!

I should have cleaned the K/n filter or removed it for the dyno.. my filter is filthy and I am sure that hurt abit!
