Cheapest Place to SandBlast and Coat Headers in DFW? Quality Powder Coating in Carrollton is 270.00 or so with Taxes and 3% Shop Fee.
Enduro Coatings charges 225.00 flat... over in Mesquite
Custom Powder Coating in Dallas is he most expensive if i recall...
yall know anyone else that is cheaper?? should I ceramic coat em... or is paint all they need.
Hooker longtubes----they have lots of rust.. but no pits

I wouldnt Ceramic Coat them though..id use the new Ti_tech stuff. We did some on BoostedGTs turbo headers and they still look new and unfaded. Ceramic will fade and dull with heat.

I know that no one wants to paint them, but i did a set a few months back that came out extremely well. I bought a sand blaster that runs off your air compressor, and some (black magic) sand, and blasted them in my back yard. I then painted them with the VHT 2000 degree paint, and did 2 thick coats. They looked better than they did new, and i spent a total of about 70 bucks and got to keep the sand blaster.
Just another option.

I have a set of Edelbrock longtubes uncoated. I hand sanded them and used the Hi temp grill paint from homedepot and it worked out great. Still look like the day we painted them....

reason i wanted them coated is because the inside of them... i dont want to spend the time sandint them by hand... and i want the rust off the inside.... i am not going to consider buying another set... these were FREE!! What does the guy in arlington charge?? can he do em less than 225???
Paint is cool... but can you effectively paint the inside?? these babies are really RUSTED!

got my headers back from Enduro coatings... Gary knocked some off the price! They look great.. whoever warned me about the flanges and peels need not be concerned.... they are nice.... he did a very good job and getting em done for 2 bills aint bad at all! Also he stands behind the coating with a warranty..... of course you have to pay for removal if something happened with the coating such as bad paint etc.

KooKs should never rust.... they are stainless steel... the best you can buy!
I would coat them only for heat dissapation (sp?) and exhaust gas velocity based on the principal that hotter gases flow faster iirc. .
