Default Any Texas Oil Trash on here?

Never asked before, but I remember it being brought up a while back at one of the meets.

How many Texas members do we have in the Oilfield? Positions?

I'm a Service Personnel bottom feeder. lol

My dad is an Ocean Engineer.

Although pressured by my dad, oil is a field I will not be participating in.

I've been working in the Oil/Gas industry since I was 18. Started as a pipefitter helper in the refineries of Deer Park and Bay Area Blvd with Brown & Root, then did welding, then did pipefitting. Got out of college and became a Project Engineer. Then switched over to the offshore side of things and did Project Engineering, and now Project Management.

I've only worked in oilfield after college. I'm a Systems Engineer for subsea production equipment manufacturer. I design subsea production / injectiom manifolds and tie in systems. It's good job, and thanks to it I get to travel all over the world .

I am a Landman for Chevron. I do all the business dealings behind drilling a well... negotiate with partners, draft contracts, secure leases, etc. Not really "oil trash", but it is in the oil industry.
