Default What can't be cut inside the car

Lookin at my new found tool (angle grinder) and I need to practice cutting some stuff.
I see some misc stuff inside the car that I dont need anymore, like where the rear seats mount, air bag sensor mount, etc

But wondering about anything else inside there that might need to stay for structural support. Not Cage at this point.

Any pix of things you cut out?

I cut out all the rear seat mounts, and rear seat belt mounts, TTop holder mounts, amd all most of stuf under the center counsle.

If you wanna save a little more weight, use a spot weld cutter. It will problably be a lil faster too.

You can get one from www.Mcmaster.com its part #4096a11

Back there where the butt buckets were, there is a triangular piece on the side where the plastic would cover it up, can that be cut with now problem to structure?

I didn't really cut anything out of the interior of my car but I did remove all miscellaneous brackets that were spot welded. I was thinking about cutting out the side panels where the rear speakers go but I figure I would leave that in for structural integrity.

One thing I did which may have been a couple of pounds was to cut out areas of fiberglass behind the door panels and cut of out some areas of excess material on the hatch.

Any pics of the hatch? How's that for structural integrity?

Yeah I thought about the "structural integrity" thing after I posted it and realized that cutting and removing stuff probably isn't helping that out . I took out some small areas of the hatch and it's pretty sturdy. I'll try to post some pics when I get home.

Here are two pics. I think I'm gonna remove the hatch this weekend and really try to hollow it out as best as I can.

The damn glass is what really weights alot though.
