Black Formula WS6 - Ft. Hood Just wanted to update y'all on how things are going with the Formula.
Just got a hold of a new poly trans mount (from Jegs here in Columbus where I'm on leave) that I will install this weekend to solve the broken mount issue. (They make a red and black one, why does the color matter under there? I don't know but I got a red one since that's the look I'm going for under the hood) After I get that in I can at least get it on a dyno to see what I am working with.
I also got bottle brackets for the NOS setup, but still need to get the bottle and accessories that go with the bottle. (all other componants are installed) Maybe tax returns I can pick the bottle up and complete the install for the kit. Then I'll take it back to the dyno to see what kind of gains I have from it.
My fuel rail covers are finished and payment is in route, hopefully I can get those in within the next month or so.
I finally got my Formula decal (black reflective OEM) for the red strut tower brace and since it took a while to get the decal, the folks at Maryland Speed gave me 2 more decals for the brake calipers. (which right now are stock color, but I might go with red on those I havn't decided)
I thought about using clear plexiglass and either wood or metal to build a box around the NOS bottle (I plan a 20LB bottle in the "trunk" area) that way I can still utilize some of the space around the box to store things if I need to. I havn't decided on that either, but I'm throwing ideas around. If anyone has any ideas that doesn't involve removing the back seat for bottle location I'd like to hear them.
Once I get some of this stuff in, I'll post new pics

Cool, we should do an F-Body - Ft Hood GTG some evening. I know I see tons of Cameros and Firebirds cruising around post and in parking lots. I wonder what the M.P.s would think if all the sudden 20 or more F-Body's came cruising down Battalion Avenue at the same time lol.

Hey James it's been awhile. You remember me I used to have a red Z28 and we use to go to the Temple track. Well anyway I was wondering if you still go out there?

hey bro well i don't have that car anymore because it was stolen from me and wrecked... 
but the insurance gave me money and the car back. so i got the engine and tranny and exhaust out... now i got a 98 firebird ws6. in feburary i am getting the engine and tranny swapped out and at the same time putting some heads stg 2 on and upgrading tranny to a stg 3... this car should be better than the last one... lol

Just got my Fuel Rail Covers delivered. They look sweet. Shiny black with red pinstrip 5.7 litre on the bottom and red Formula door badge on the top centered on both. On the underside you can still see where it use to say "Corvette" lol
I'll post progressive install pics but I have to go to the field tomorrow so I won't be posting them until 1 Feb.

there are still people at hood??? wtf? thought we were all here in iraq.. j/k im in 1-8 cav , 2nd BDE. dragon i think iv seen your car before sounds sick as hell??? if so yea iv seen you at the last red light leaving the main gate.
