Default Door Tag transfers?

Alrighty, everyone know's the numbers are on the inner side of the driver door, well i was wanting to replace the door and was wondering what way would you go on transfering the "stickers" I know that if you try and peel them off there's a risk of ripping them, so i'm wanting to be dead on on how to take them off. I dont want to have a door with no numbers...it looks like a cheap job IMO with out the "stickers" on the door. Thanks for all the help!

I don't think you are supposed to transfer them, some sort of tampering law.
I know we cannot do this at our shop if we have to replace a door.

sorry, I am no help. Maybe try a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up decal. You will probably need some sort of tape overlay to keep it stuck on the new door. The only thing is that it will look tampered with.

and they install them and everything? you just drive the car over there and do the paper work ( paper work )

reason i'm wanting to do all this is i want to replace the doors with some manual windows...i've never been a fan of manual windows, and i think swaping out all the internals would be more pain than just swaping the doors. any thoughts?

You cannot get replacements. YOu unfortunately are pretty much so SOL. The decals are tamper proof, so if you try to remove them they will "delaminate" with "stripes" of the white background coming off.

Default Better option

If you have digital camera take a high quality pic of it. Print it and stick on your door. Remember to save your pic in case there is a need to prove authenticity on the car.
