Default 994rwhp 863rwtq

We were playing around with our shop car on the dyno and got some new numbers.

994rwhp 863rwtq through an (unlocked! ) turbo 400 and a full 4 inch exhaust system exiting at the bumper.

This is with a mid frame Innovative 88mm turbo, turbo system built in house.

Sportsman 370ci iron motor.

out of the box AFR 225 heads

LS6 intake, 78mm throttle body

236/242 112lsa cam

22psi boost, 23deg timing, C16 fuel

We are now disassembling the car and building a twin system

Does that downpipe neck from 5" down to 4"? That is a pretty sweet setup and great numbers.

How much more power would that T-88 put down?

What crankshaft?

What rpm is it making full boost at? and size stall convertor?

Is this the first speed setup that hasn't dynoed the same rwhp and rwtq? I call BS!

Looks amazing! And great numbers.

Hypothetical question... What would be the gains if you went to a 40X engine? That's pretty sweet...

gnx7- Yes, downpipe is 5in and necks down to 4in to make it past the engine/k-member. Full boost is around 5200 on the dyno, earlier on the street. Our sportsman 370 uses an iron block, stock crank, eagle rods and diamond pistons. This is as far as we've taken this combination, if I had to guess, I would say it could make about 100 more hp maxed out.

stoleit- Thanks

gator's 99TA- TCT 4000

paspar2- As with most any turbo combination, more displacement will make the same or less peak horsepower, and more low end power and torque at a lower boost level and RPM.

We prefer 350-370ci for a turbo application. Smaller displacement will extend the usable rpm range for a given turbo, and also run the turbo in a more efficient range of the compressor map.

It should be 3000# with the funny car cage, wheelie bars and parachute.

Any reason it can't make 30 PSI and 1300 at the wheels?

Wastegates are just extra weight.

leave the door open tonight.

This car has never had the HPT 3bar on it - that is our street kit cars you are thinking of. We use BS3 on the shop car with our harness to keep the factory gauges.

why why why build a twin, this kit seems to have the go. if your running out of turbo, i think you could squeeze a bigger in there.

nice numbers, to bad you didnt get some track passes on it, id like to see that before the tair down
