Looks pretty good. You can get some fine sandpaper and make that bad boy slick though!

PS - if you wiggle/yank on those coolant tubes long enough, they will come out of the throttle body for a much cleaner look They are just pressed into it. You can stick a screwdriver in the one on the left and twist it back and forth in the hole untill it free's up, pry it out with another screwdriver. Repeat for the other side.

- Also, its not a bad idea to dab some blue loctite on those throttle blade screws.

What kind of sandpaper? How fine? I have a Dremel, I was trying to polish it, but I don't have polishing compound. I wonder if I could use chrome polish?

How about Red, dont have blue.

If you use red you will probably strip the screws if/when you attempt to remove. However, heat will melt red, then they come right out.

Just a little dab of red if you use it instead of blue.

I use blue on my 1/8 gas RC cars (they vibrate and set up harmonics that will loosen just about every screw on the car (blue stops it). With red the screws are nearly impossible to remove unless you use heat. Problem is you can't use heat everywhere.

That looks really good, but why didn't you fill in the PCV port?

I wouldn't fill in the IAT/Air holes.
I did that: epoxied the holes, re-drilled them and had idle problems since. Rpms would fluctuate for the first minute or so on cold stratups....Just let it be....

because how would the engine get the air it needs to vent?

you can use a fine grit sand paper to smooth it and aluminum wheel polish with a dremil. i had to clean up my jantzer considerable after i got it from him

This is an electric throttle so no IAC port. The PCV is needed
unless you are going to eliminate (breathers etc.). You want
the PCV air to be MAF metered (even though where it's a
significant relative amount, low RPM, the MAF is largely
ignored).

It looks like a good enough job to me, I don't know how
much making it any shinier will help (other than as the
man-car bonding experience). No offense to the ladies,
I'm sure you like it too.

Heya Jason,

Got your PM and saw your post that you were having issues with high idle after installing this TB. My bet is the TB blade isn't sealing in the bore completely and it's letting air in, either propped open via the adjust screw, over-porting or a problem with the blade. Problem goes away with the stocker reinstalled ? Did you reset the PCM and relearn idle after installing the ported one ?

I'll PM you my cell, give me a call and we'll take a look. You may have to help me paint my kitchen cabinets though, which is what I'm supposed to be doing today, haha.
