This is Curtis' 2001 Silverado Extra cab truck from the board here (he'll post up more detail on the combo shortly). It is a 5.3 bored .030 over, STOCK rods, stock crank, small cam, home ported heads, forged pistons... custom GT42 turbo kit. It has a FLP Level V 4L65E with a PI 3200 stall. All runs were done locked on the truck. Here is where we ended up at with 13lbs of boost. Also, this was with 93 octane. The IAT was around 73* at the end of each run. Can't wait until he lets me build him a 408
Btw, Walker Morgan in B'ham fabbed this kit.. it looks AMAZING. I'll get those guys to post some pics of the setup soon.

Man I'm happy with the results, truck pulls really hard.I hope were not asking to much of it...but if we are thats the way the cookie crumbles. Gomer pretty much covered the mods. I have to thank all my friends that helped get it to where it is, could not have done it with out them :)

Looking to do pretty much the same set up on a buddys truck...
Was wondering if you could answer a couple questions for me...
What forged pistons are you running, what comp. ratio and where did you get them...?
What are the specs on the cam...?
What size GT-42 are you running...?
Thanks for any answers that you can give me...
Looks like you have a sweet ride... :drive:

Ross pistons,9 -1 machine shop got them. I'll have to get back to ya on the other # Thanks :chug:
Great numbers on such small displacement. From 3K to 4K RPM you nearly doubled the rear wheel torque! (300 to 550) That truck is going to scoot!
What size downpipe?
Are you running ported 6.0 heads?
What rings are you running?
Can't wait to see what it will do with some meth injection or straight 100 octane.... :drive:
