Default CAR WONT IDLE! wtf ! Help PLZ!

Just hooked up powerdyne 4.5 and car wont run worth a crap. the rev just bounces from 1500 top 0 over and over. I took s/c piping off and put stock intake setup back on and it ran fine. This is a simple bolt on kit and shouldnt require any tuning to run. Espically with the 4.5#. What is going on?? PLZ HELP!!

does the blower blow through the maf? it sounds like the motor is having a hard time compensating for the extra air or the restriction added by the blower. Regardless of what anyone told you your car needs a tune and this problem probably won't go away until it is tuned. Besides, if you are running lean with this setup you could potentially damage your engine especially with the stock injectors.

it has an FMU and is suppose to be ok with stock injectors.. yes i know i need to do injectors and stand alone but i just got the kit, and i dont know if i wana keep it so ima run the fmu for a bit. The air is pulled through the MAF not push through. someone told me that it could be a leak in the s.c piping or the bypass valve but i couldnt find one. Any other opinions?

You have a vacuum leak or the bypass is not working.

I'll put my money on vacuum leak if you took off, changed, or otherwise messed with any part of the intake. My .02.

i didnt touch the actual intake manifold. Im going to check the bypass again, If the bypass isnt working then its going to be pushing to much air at idle isnt it.? Do i need to drill a small hole in the throttle body butterfly? Someone told me it might help..

It sounds like a bypass problem to me too. I ran a pull through MAF with a powerdyne and never had any problems (at least idle related problems). If the bypass is not seeing vaccum, it will be closed. Make sure it is seeing some good vaccuum.

I also ran a pull through with my PD, never had an issue with the idle. Vacuum leak sounds like the culprit. Check all hose clamps, vac lines up to the TB.

I ran a blow through on my pd no problems unless you vent the blow off to the atmosphere, double check your pcv nipple by the throttle body make sure it isnt leaking vacuum
