Default Post camshaft question PLEASE HELP

I just got done installing a camshaft from Thunder Racing on a 99 Trans am. I took it for a test drive after the car got to regular teperature, and after about 3 min. of driving the car began to back fire and at about 3,000 RPMs in 5th it kinda stumble, but just enough to notice. everything else is great!!!

What is the problem? Do I just need to get it tuned?

are you on a stock tune. i have seen were the plug wires are not all the way on and cause a backfire. check all your electrical connections.

X2 for checking the plug wires. Then a tune helps of course.

Drivability improves. Cold starts improve. HP improves (sometimes up to 30rwhp) depending on application.

My car was a f'n bitch to drive when it was on the stock tune. After I took it to east side, drove amazing, as if i never put in a huge *** cam.

Go get tuned. Night and day difference.
