So those who read my last few posts, know i just install my FLP's. So everything was fine, but then after about 15miles, as usual, the SES light came on. So last night i unplugged my battery over night (someone said this would reset the PCM...?) Went to start it to go to Autozone, and when i started it for the first time this morning after having the battery unplugged, its struggles for a few seconds to start and then fluctuated at idle below 700 rpms (reminds me of my friends extremely rich condition, which whenever he reved it it stalled much like mine did), but the SES light was off I would rev and it would drop to 200rpms!
So drove to the store with my dad, got back in started it and everything is normal!
Then i went to do what all of you have been saying to do just to be safe, "go to Autozone and do the check it for free" since i dont have ATAP. On the way there i was being safe because the SES light came on again. So Code P0140 and P0160 (HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2 and bank 2 sensor 2) came up.
---thanks for reading. what the heck do i do! Can i drive it the 40 miles i have to tomorrow!? The guy asked me to delete the codes. i said no i wanted to talk to you guys to see what to do!

sounds like its your cats. do you have 02 sensors on? your car reacted normal after reseting the pcm. the ses light shouldnt matter that much..its just to let you know that your cats are not working well.

You shoulda let 'em delete the codes. They probably won't come back.
So... Whatcher saying is AutoZone has a Tech II or similar scanner (ScanMaster type) and can diagnose & delete codes? This is great news for folks who shy away from scheduling time at a dealer.
What did they charge ya?

Sometimes when I reset my computer the car will idle up and down and almost die when I start it the first time. I shut it off them it runs fine.

If you have good O2 simms you should not be getting the codes for those sensors. You may have bad O2 simms. You can delete the codes and see if they come back. To check your O2 circut and set up your idle here is what you do. Start engine cold and let it idle either in park or neutral with the emergency brake on. After 5 min the system will have checked your O2 circuts and relearned your idle. If your O2 circuts are good the ses light will not be on.

Where did you buy your O2 sims from? Or I should ask, where did they originate from? Which company?

when u leave your car off the battery for a extended period of time ur car has to relearn its idle. I had my neg off for 2hrs doing a line lock install and had same problem u described with idle. dont know about your SES codes but that was ur idle problem

As I posted before, I'm having similar problems with my car. I havn't had my car scanned yet. However, I assume that the O2 simms are bad. I got the O2 simms made by casper I think, they came in a little brown box with two wire ties.

If you don't have Autotap go back to Autozone delete the codes and drive the car. The PCM has to learn the new signals it see's. Everything will be fine.
