Default Pics of gauges in AC vents in my TA

Thought I'd snap a few pics.

The gauges have LED's to illuminate them. The photo's dont do them justice.

I like it, looks good. I don't know about the shiftlight being very "in your face"? Thought about getting a smaller one and putting it in a vent/pillar vent?

Its actually not too bad. It lines up right w/ the Tach so it doesn't obscure anything. You can kind of tell in the dark pic w/ the dash lights on.

But yeah, when it hits 6400rpms , HOLY CRAP its bright. lol

Looks Great! I've always liked the TAs w/ gauges there.

Looks awsome man! I like the gauges lighting up in red. I have my shift light there too. I'm thinking of gettin a smaller one but the location is perfect. I always found myself lookin at the stock tach anyway! Great job.

Damn those gauges look awesome, especially at night. I think those gauges look right a place an go really well with the rest of the red led's. Btw that's a badass car you have and cobra, is that the stock ram-air hood?

Those are the Ultra-Lite gauges correct? Did you get them from a sponsor? I've been looking but can only find them listed in 2 1/16 sizes. Please, point me in the right direction if you can.

the hood is a US Exotics hood. I believe it was the "outlaw" hood b/c the cowl sits about 1 1/2 inch higher in the back then a stock WS6 hood. Very aggressive looking and they dont make it anymore from my knowledge

I knew something was up, cause that hood looks extra aggressive, and very mean. wish they still sold them, i'd def. pick one up.

Cool ideas.

I've often thought about a CETA style painted bumper on a black TA. I think it looks pretty decent.

On the gauges, how did you install the LEDs? The red little "condoms" Autometer provides, give off more of a pink look. That bright red looks good. Exactly what I'm looking for. I've tried painted bulbs, etc. and can't get the right look.

Did you modify the provided light socket, and wire in the LEDs? Ya gotta tell me how you did it!

Thanks,
Rob
