Default Any 383 Strokers running the G5X3 cam?

I'm trying to find out what the estimated rear wheel horsepower and torque would be for a 383 stroker running the LG G5X3 cam, and see how it compares to my setup with the F13 cam. They are both great cams; however, I like keeping my lift below .600. I'm thinking about adding the FAST LSx intake with a NW 90 TB next.

I would appreciate it if anyone running this setup (or the G5X4) can post their dyno sheet. I'm not trying to go for "max" power - the primary purpose of my setup is for road racing (HPDE/TT) events where low end torque and a relatively high/flat torque curve from 2500 to 6500 RPMs are ideal. Thanks!

Default 383 w/ G5X3

Alright, I searched like a good boy and found this old thread. Unfortunately, no results. I'm hoping things may have changed in the last year or so since it was first posted.

Any 383's running the G5X3? If so, parts list and results requested. Thank you.

I think 240 244 on a 112. Not sure about the lift though

wouldn't a G5X3 be too small for a 383?

the G5x3 is 234/242 112 or 114 - lift is approx. .600/.610

i would think it would work VERY well in a street oriented 382.

however, you may see a little better performance using a cam that's specifically designed as a "stroker" cam.

we have a 238/244 114 that works really well in anything from a 382 to 427's.

we've seen around 520rwhp, in a 427 motor through an automatic trans with that cam.

I thought you had a bigger cam then the f13. The f13 should be 230 232 with under .600 lift.

Hi Bryan-

I'm interested in torque numbers mostly. My intended platform is my daily driver '01 Z06 which is currently wearing AFR 205's and a ported FAST90/LS2 TB setup. Might you have any numbers or preferably dynographs from the cam you mentioned in an LS6 382/383 combo? Thank you.
