Has anybody had any experience with the 78mm throttle body for sale in ebay? It is slightly bigger than the stock 75mm unit and is half-shafted as well to remove that restriction. I screwed up my stock tb and figure that this has to be at least as good as a ported stock unit and it's less than $200. It seems like it might be a decent upgrade to someone like me with a ls-6 intake and full bolt ons that will have a moderate cam down the road.

Anyone have any input?

i am wondering the same i have seen them and they sound good but who knows

I would think that they have to be at least as good as a ported stock throttle body....unless they are very poorly made?
