Default can this cut off 1/2 second?

my best has been a 13.50, dont have many mods really.
with some LT's and drag radials, would that cut off that 1/2 second i need to get into 12's?

I would bet that with a decent launch you would be well into the 12s with those mods. What was your 60 foot time and 1/4 mile mph when you ran your 13.50?

What is your 60ft on the 13.50 pass? Check my sig, these cars are capable of 12's quite easily with minimal mods

^ thats easy to say with a factory beast! every time I see your sig I feel envy. But most LS1s don't make 321 to the wheels with a lid only. That's like... 310 stock? maybe more.

There are variations from dyno to dyno. It's track times that matter. And I have those, so quit hating

well the day i ran that 13.50 it was a pretty cold night..
in the summer the best i could pull off was a 13.62

i would do better at sea level but im at 4400 ft elevation, but i am worried about drag radials and breaking the rear end...

12's are nuthin but traction with these cars.

dyno is a tool, true bragging rights are done at the track.

You shouldn't break the rear-end with stock power. If you are really worried about get some nitto's they don't stick as good as the others. There are tons of people on here that run sticky tires on the stock 10-bolt. No problems. Good tires alone should get you 12's.

Now it becomes a little more clear...you are running at elevation. If I remember right it is something like 3% of your power that is lost per 1000 feet of elevation. If you can best your 60 foot time by approx .15 second by the installation of the drag radials (possible) then the long tubes should net you a few more tenths in et so there is your half second. (2*-.15)= -.3-.2=-0.5)

Quite a few do (M6's), but the high HP ones will always be on a Dynojet Dyno. These are non-load bearing dyno's. If you put the same 321rwhp car onto a Mustang/DynoDynamics/Rototest dyno it would have dyno'd ~300rwhp.

Bet it was a dyno jet right?

BTW, in theory outside temp should make no odds to the readings (or at least minimal) as there should be correction factors used to equal out atmospheric conditions, that's if it's been corrected to SAE as opposed to STD.

I broke my rearend with just the mods in my sig, which are minimal, and I'm an A4. I was running DR's at the track with about a season and a half on it when the rear gave out.

Tell me about it. Everyone that I know that races on a semi regular basis with stickies has replaced their 10 bolt with a 12 bolt or 9 inch. Warranty covered mine this time.

I bought an extended warranty when I bought my car used in '03 with 10K on it. Paid for itself twice over so far. I was peeling rubber out of the fenderwells before driving it to the dealer. Acutally took it in for the 4th steering column issue and was so mad I told em the rearend was making noise still and now pissing fluid out of the pinion seal and wanted that fixed as well. They already looked at the rear once and said A-OK. They met me in the lot and kissed my *** the whole time. First time that's happened.

That ended up being around a $3500 bill that cost me a 50 dollar deductable. Again, first time I've been that lucky with a dealer.

Then I would say leave street tires on it and have fun with it until you can afford to drive it with stickies. IE, a new rearend. Cause once you race it with stickies a couple times that rear will start howling. Specially with an M6.

New 12 bolts start around 2k before install and assorted optional goodies.
