What motor is it? LS1 or LS6?

What motor is it? LS1 or LS6? Went over to a customers house to look at his sandrail.
He wanted to know what motor it had.
Truck intake..
I looked at the block part number.....12561168.....LS6 or 02+ LS1
went to look at the head casting #'s....they are ground off
Is there any way of telling if this is a LS6?
Do the valvesprings look different?

I will yank off a valve cover and look at the springs
