I saw that a couple of years ago in a magazine. It's a gen1 smallblock with 8 turbos in a '55 or '57 I believe. Forgot the exact type of car.

Can you imagine the heat that thing would generate!?!

Yea, I saw that in a magazine too. Looks like one of those things that you'd do just because nobody has done it before. Imagine the weight savings if he'd just stuck with 2 turbos.

I bet it would sound sick hearing 8 turbos spooling up.

LOL. You like more "practical" things. Like twin turbo 71 chevelles with 315's out back . LOL. (Sorry , but I just had to.)

I kinda know what you mean, but at the same time I don't think we as hotrodders , drag racers etc, can really talke about practical. Plus when i comes down to it, that was done as a show car most likely.

Sometimes you just gotta kinda see it for that. Or else, we should all be driving Toyota tercells if practical is the concern. Would I do it, no? Do I see the point?...... Not sure, but I can't really talk, because I as well as the rest of us don't need turbos and cams in our daily drivers , race cars etc..... , or even need Fbodies , vettes ,vipers etc for that matter. They are all impractical probably , to most of the population when they are bone stock , and especially when we put thousands ,or tens of thousands into them on top of the cost of the car.

What I mean mostly by "impractical" is, a car with 8 turbo's should be making about 4000 hp. There are a ton of people on here making 730 hp or more with a stock ls1 and an STS. To each there own, but I try to have everything on my car have a purpose. Ya know.

...with log manifolds no less. I have to agree with nitrorocket. I'm not impressed at all, and the exhaust routing is shitty.
