I think it could be a lot worse for the power we're making. Most of us get like what, high teens around town? That's about what most minivans get while making like 1/3 the power.

'Vette rear O2s, these at least have a prayer of
working properly at low gas flow, lower exhaust
heat. Plus you don't have to buy extensions.

Just put those headers on. I saw 3-4 MPG increase when my headers and TD's went on. Tripped 2300 miles across the country at an average speed of 85 and still saw 23 MPG average. Before the headers, I averaged 19-20 MPG highway. And this is low compared to a lot of the A4 guys. Some of them see over 25 MPG daily.

Headers will give you an increase in MPG.

Air filter, check tire psi, might as well rotate them as well while it's in the air if you havent done that in awhile. Not so much to do with the headers but a lot of people seem to forget about injector cleanings... just clean the whole intake system if you want, that will help with fuel mileage.

That, and the most important part, stay off the loud pedal. You don't have to practice your 60 foot time from every stop light.

About to do the same to mine. Also going to change differential fluid while its up. Do a once around on the underbody. Wires, plugs if its time. Put that supercharger you always wanted in the rear...

I thought that's what stop lights were for.

The post and pre cat o2's function the same. The only difference is length. Rear O2's will reach the long tube o2 bungs. I guess they produce a higher voltage for the heater so they can get the car into closed loop faster, or so I am told.
