Default Going to look at an LS1, need advice

hey im thinking about buying a Ls1 98 z28 camaro.

car has 99k on the ticker, fully loaded yadda yadda its a 6speed car and the asking price is 6900$ what do you think to much?

Thats not bad, look it over carefully, get him down to 6500 and you got yourself a new ls1.

If it's in great shape, that's a great price. Have you looked at the car yet?

I'd try to get him down to $6500 just on principle
For the most parts LS1's tend to run well way over 100k so if the car is clean go for it

I have 135k on mine right now, i've only relpaced the the waterpump (it didnt go out, but i had a random overheating problem that ended up being a clogged radiator), the AC compressor, and a few sensors. If you dont mind that, you'll be good to go

You can talk him much lower. I got my Formula for 6250 with 75k on the clock and a not actual mileage title < that was most of the bargaining leverage there, but still...

check for rubber in the rear tire wells....gives u an idea if the guy before u did a lot of burn outs...but still not like 90 % of these cars arent taken to the limit...they are built to handle it
