This is a little off topic, but everyone bashed the weiand intake because it is aluminum and not composite, but honestly does heat sink really affect power that much?

no it doesn't unless your bracket racing it won't matter that much. Hell for the price diff I'd go with the lingenfelter!

No, & it is also separated by an insolator (I don't remember the name of the material of the insolator, but, it isolates the intake from the engine. There's also one for between the TB & the intake manifold. The thing I like best is that the aluminum intake inlet can be opened to about 82mm & port matching the runners is easy.

BTW, that heat thing works both ways, it also cools down more when you throw a bag of ice on her.

Nice, glad to hear some good feedback on it as everyone around here seems to bash it. I only started looking at it as tbyrne has it for dirt cheap, cheaper than even an ls6, and even though people complain about heat sink i rarely get to the track, and it isnt my daily driver, so its not like im having multiple runs every weekend and yea a bag of ice will work wonders!

I have a polished Weiand aluminum intake in there some were .But i beleave that a Match ported & ported polished runners will out do the power the power loss from heat sink ,ya think!!

hold on a sec...wait... yea... yeah there it is i see it. looks good. good to know a simple port job makes up the diffrenece if there is one. is the weiand better then the standard GM LS6? i heard it is but its good to hear it from more th one person.

Yea that looks like a sweet setup, but whats will all the funny blue and red lines all over you engine bay? Those dont come with the intake do they?

Man that looks awesome. I read a little magazine called STREET THUNDER while I was waiting the other day and the had a real good comparison of the ls1,ls6,weiland,TPIS, spyder and the ls2 they ran them with the different TB from 78 to oval to 90 on each It was a real decent comparison. Weiland hung in there between the ls1 and ls6 and the FAST kicked *** like usual. But a picture is worth a thousand because it looks damn good

the lines are stainless steel high pressure for the nitrous and fuel plus they will never haft to be replaced and the fittings are Earls, ive got around 300.00 in lines and fitting ,The fittings is high as hell

Haha i was kidding, your engine bay looks absolutely amazing. Wish mine looked 1/1000000000th as good as yours. Plus when you pop your hood and those red/blue lines and solenoids are showing man that must be intimidating.
