car sucking air?!
A few of us LS1'ers were riding around the other night and my friend rolls up beside me and just messing around. I slam on the gas when he is beside me and loving the way the exhaust sounds. Later we stop and get out of the car and he is like "wow man your car really sucks in the air. When you were beside me and you stomped on it you can just hear the air sucking in."
Is this a good thing or bad thing? There isnt anything wrong is it? Anyways thanks in advance guys

OMG! You better get that looked at. One of your gaskets is about to blow!

This is typical with the intake mods you have done. When you stomp on the gas like that, it creates a lot of vacuum pressure. For that split second at low rpms when you hit it, you'll hear the intake over the exhaust. I like the way it sounds to get under the hood and pull the TB open and hear the intake just sucking in that air.

Have you heard a 7500 RPM SBC with dual quads and no air cleaner? It will bark like a big loud dog when you stomp on it. Good for scaring pedestrians and stuff.
