Wheels & Tires - what size pro stars

what size pro stars 15 10 and backspace? Also size on drag tires thanks 95TA

15x10 with 7.5 BS will look nice with a 275/50/15 (asuming you only need a 26" tire). This is what mine looks like.

Thanks for the info. Jegs said i could not get 7.5 bs in a pro star. What if i go with a 28in tire will those still work? Also how wide of a tire?

That's not right. They even list them on their site. You can go with a 275/60/15 (28") without banging in the inner fenders to much. But you will probrably have to trim the bumper and possibly roll the inner fender lips. The max width you can get on the car is going to be limited by how low the car is and how much your willing to modify the inner wheel wells. Are you going more for looks, or performance? Also, what are you running for a set up as far as the motor, tranny, gears?

Yep, you'll want to get atleast a 28" tire under the car. It should be pretty easy.

Not trying to hijack but....

I am running a lil 224 cam on a 12-bolt w/3:73's...will be spraying a 100shot of TNT...will I be better off with a 26" or 28" ET Drag? The car will be seeing a lot of motor only action as well...

While we are talking about Pro Stars... I have them... 15X10 with a 26 inch tall ET Street and I am currently using a 4.11 gear. My car makes 770 rwhp (maybe a few more come spring) and I know that tire/gear combo isn't the best for my application. If I put a 28 inch tall tire on that rim, will that get me "enough of gear"? And... what, if any, modifications will I have to do so that the tires do not rub? Or should I just gear the car down to a 3.70 or 3.50 gear so that I can run a 26 inch tall tire? To be quite honest, I don't like how the car sits higher in the back with a 28 inch tall tire. I know... I know... we can't have the best of everything.

Or... should I go with a 15x8 with a 28 inch tall tire? That probably wouldn't require any modifications, right? :)
