hey guys i got a few questions... i was planning on buying a black 94 z28 a4 with 3"dual dumped exhaust and hooker headers and a 3500 stall tc for 3500 bucks in florida but recently i was driving down a local road and spotted a firehawk on blocks with no rims tires hood or radio...the car is not stolen (i checked with a cop friend) so i was wondering
what years were these cars made?
were they available in stick and auto?
what advantages/ disadvantages over formula/trans am/ws-6?
how rare are they?
im gonna go check it out tomorrow but i wanted some backround info first thanks guys and gals

a firehawk is an SLP made version of a ws6. theyre rarer than a ws6. and basically all the changes made to em were what they took. rims, tires, hood. some suspension and depending on what year it is, if its an ls1 its 345 horse. what year is it?

im not sure of the year...ive driven past it once and im pretty sure that its an lt1 so im gonna check the code and make sure its real and then who knows...i may buy it if the owner wants to sell but im just gonna drop by and see what the deal is....if i do buy it theres a chance i would just resell it because i want something i can mod and due to its rarity i dont think this is a mod car... its black by the way

They were made between 97 and 02, i'm not sure but i think the first year was with an LT1.

- 92 (I think) thru 02
- 6 speed manual and 4 speed automatic (not sure about the earlier years)
- I depends on the options purchased but basically suspension and HP
(2000 = 330 hp, 2001 = 335 hp, 2002 = 345 hp, don't know about the
earlier years)
- Pretty rare, in later year firebirds the only thing rarer would be a Formula WS6
Hope this helps :joecool:

i dont have that kind of change...
Firehawks were made between 92 and 02 with the exception of 1998 due to safety concerns
