Come people, Brainstorm with me.
Ok, I want to make sure I have everyhting in order. I am getting ready to order parts as soon as I get some feedback.
I have a forged 347 that I am putting an D1-SC ATI on. I plan to run 12 lbs of boost.
Now, here is what I am thinking.
Forged 347 9.5:1 compression
Patriot Stage III heads. 2.08/1.60 valve
FMS F9 cam 232"/236" .585"/.600" 114LSA
Now, do you guys think this will make a good FI set up? I want to make sure everything works together nicely.

The valve size is a little large for the bore. Might be a problem for flow as far as shrouding goes, could be wrong there. As boost will make up for it anyhow. The cam looks to be good choice for the blower though. Also the compression is ok right there it will limit you to about 12-15psi on pump gas with a good front mount but that will be ok for the D1 as you will run out of steam beyond that. Should be good for 600-650 or so to the tires.

Gunnar also told me he was worried about the valve size being too big. I saw one of exotics cars use the exact same 2.08 heads and make 670 to the wheels though. Thats why I thought it would be a good choice. I have told Gunnar to go ahead with the 2.08, should I have it changed to a 2.055?
And I will be running a FMIC.
