Typicially I would say between 450-750 is the going rate for just the labor.
Plus add in the cost of the cam, springs, timing chain, gaskets, etc.

JZ is right. Also, cheaper is not always better. You usually pay for what you get. The gurus in my neck of the woods usually charge 600 or so(more often). Pricey, but you know it will be done right!

oreyk31, there are a few shops in the area. RPMotorsports are fairly decent price and Lamar Walden Automotive in Doraville. I live in Canton right now as well. But I do all my own work.

http://www.rpmotorsport.com/ located in Marietta.

Biggest cam without changing the heads, well you dont have to change heads to put a large cam, but you may have to flycut, but hard to tell. Dont know about stalls, Im a manual tranny guy.

That cam is not bad and the 112lsa will give it some good lope, but check with people who do them on autos, all I remember hearing and reading on big cams and autos dont go too well.

my cam has about the same duration but my lift is a 585 and it lopes like crazy....you can tell the car is cammed. the specs you listed kinda sound like a z06 cam but i think a z06 cam has a little smaller lift. im sure someone else on here will know for sure.
