Default Anybody wishing to by pass their heater(pic)

Here's how I removed my heater hoses to bypassed my heater.

This is a formed hose from Auto Zone part number 4354. One end is 3/4" and the other 5/8" which fits perfectly. You do have to cut about 1" off the 5/8" end.

Why would you want to bypass the heater? What does this do for you?

I was wondering the same...I prefer to be comfy in my car. Is this maybe one of those take every ounce of weight off as possible mods?

This is my race car. Allows me to take everything out from under the dash for weight savings.

Standard radiator hose crushes when bent. I was afraid too that the fit would not work well with one side 5/8" and the other 3/4". I wanted the job to go quick and easy too so I didn't lose all my just installed new antifreeze.

If you mean the stock radiator hose, mine was 7 years old and wanted new.
