1500 - 1800 rpm Stumble
My son has a 1995 TA auto trans with 72k miles. Car only has a K&N CAI and Hooker catback. Appears that the Opti, wires, and plugs are the orginals.
Last night it began to "stumble" between 1500-1800 rpm. There is no backfire. Pass 1800 rpm it pulls hard all the way to its redline. There is no SES light.
Any advice on where to begin troubleshooting?
Thanks,
DMark

I've done LT1s in Vettes & Impalas..., but this is my first FBody. I'm taking my time and so far have only a small amount of blood lost.
YET..., whoever designed the over-engineered wire holders and fasteners should burn in HELL!!!!!!

Well, Well..., I didn't know that the Opti was "Oil-Cooled."
Found the problem gang, when I took the cap off of the Opti it had oil all over the inside. Seals are shot. Complete new Opti going in now.
And as an added bonus, the waterpump isn't looking too good either. I'm going to replace that also.
