Well i sent my cable in to be tested and i also paypal'd a deposit if you will for the new cable. Today I received an paypal refund because they wont accept it! :mad: this sucks! Even if it doesnt come out till the end of the month, they'd have my cable and cash... whats the problem with that!?! :confused:

We are not accepting upgrades to USB units or pre-payments at this time.
It's as simple as that.
If you send us back a unit that needs to be tested and/or replaced, we will do that without a problem.
But we're not going to allow your pre-payment for the USB unit when we are telling everyone else they also must wait.
It's simply not fair. We are providing an equal oppertunity to all of our customers.

well i did send the cable in. It was sent to your p.o. box, but i guess when my wife mailed it, she didnt waive the signature so im sure they tried to deliver it again today. Its addressed to ken. If you all didnt get it, then i guess Ill just have to keep it till you all come out with the usb. :( I understand where your coming from. I know im not the only one waiting on it, but i just figured since the cable was going to be in your hands till probably the release of the new one, it only made sense.

no, not keith, but i have been talking with Ken and he never said anything about it. I emailed him and along with my cable sent a letter to him and was never told that no i couldnt do that. Now Ill have to wait till august to get it :mad:

So wait, you're upset b/c you did something that you figured would work, but didn't confirm with the company - which as stated by the company is not only falsy but by applying a little common sense would have been able to be deduced as so - and you're angry at HPTuners?
I fail to see why its HPTuners' fault here.

We have received your interface back for testing and have found nothing wrong with it.
Regardless, we will still be sending you out a new SERIAL interface as a replacement.

since you'd like clarification here's the story: Ive been emailing Ken back and forth and I asked him about it and never got a response saying that no it wasnt cool so I paypal'd the money. My ship was leaving a day or 2 after all that happened so I cant check my commercial email because we've blocked them. I received a paypal refund from tuners telling me they wouldnt accept it before hand. This is after all the emails and the money. I dont remember saying directly it was Hptuners fault. I said that i have been talking with Ken and he never said anything about it. I emailed him and along with my cable sent a letter to him and was never told that no i couldnt do that. I would call that more a lack of communication, rather than Hptuners fault as you like to put it. ;) All this aside, Keith's taken care of it and made things clear, so this thread is done. :D
