Default Pics of the HPC coated Y-pipe

Well, I thought I would take off my Y-pipe and have it re-coated with the HPC chrome process inside and out. I had a few scrapes on it from the first night I originally had put on my FLP setup and always wanted to get it fixed. If your considering doing any re-coating of Y-pipe or headers you should definitely consider the HPC process, pricing is good, customer satisfaction & excellent turn around time. I will be doing the FLP longtubes in about a week or two, so the whole system will look better than new Hopefully I will get the new exhaust finished up so I can post pics of all the work that has been going on for about a month.

Sorry for the golden hue to the pics. I did not have the right filter on my lens.

Y-pipe was $96 inside & out with the ceramic chrome finish. Headers are going to be $175 inside & out ceramic chrome finish.

No, I had alot of good things being said about HPC's finish. Anything has to be better than the FLP factory coating (LOL). You guys/gals that have a set of FLP's know what I'm talking about My car probably is not the best candidate to see long term effects. The car is a trailer queen at best, car is driven 100 miles a year, tops ! It would be hard to guage what the effects of regular driving conditions will be on the finish Especially with all the harsh weather it will see in the garage
