Appearance & Detailing - CAMARO insert application advice?

I put front and rear inserts (fill in's) on my car and messed them up. They look like crap. So, I ordered new ones and am ready to put them on. How did you do it? Did you use soap? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thats how i did mine....

I cleaned the surface off really well, with alcohol. Then put the vinyls on very careful, blow drying each one for a couple of minutes until they were on good. I've had them on for about 6 months and they still look great :-). Good luck, just read some advice, and try try again.

i just used soapy water in a spray bottle and put them on and lightly tapped it with a towel to dry it a little

Thats how i did mine....

Exactly how I did mine. Worked good for a year. The corners on 2 of them are starting to peal a bit. But its not noticable until you are close. As far as instructions, those are what I'd follow.
